Cityzi?
Since May 2010, interoperable commercial services combining transport ticketing systems, secure mobile payments, several retail projects and other tourism services are available on cityzi mobile phones. Experience with this tour what will be deployed in the other French cities in 2012.

"Cityzi Tour" program
Our exclusive "Cityzi Tour" will be operating on Monday September 19 morning and on Wednesday September 21 afternoon.
The Cityzi Tour will allow you to try out several types of contactless services in Nice. You will be lent a Samsung Wave 578 NFC operated by Orange to use the Cityzi services at your convenience. All along the Tour, several demonstrators will be at your disposal to give information and answer questions about the NFC applications, how the mobile phones and terminals work, the back-office infrastructure involved, etc.
In a cosy café, you will be able to appreciate a breakfast or refreshment and then pay the bill with a simple gesture. Later, you will be invited to experience the contactless ticketing service BPASS deployed by Veolia Transdev for the tramway and the bus network of Nice. The Cityzi Tour demonstrators will explain you in particular how the ticket validation works. Third concrete use of NFC, in a press kiosk well supplied in international newspapers and various items, you will be able to make purchases with your mobile phone.
